What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
B6054, HOLMESFIELD,
DRONFIELD WOODHOUSE
WHEN: 13 October to 24 October 2025 (09:30 to 14:30)
WHERE: B6054 Holmesfield, Dronfield Woodhouse from Owler Bar roundabout to Mickley Lane.
REASON: To facilitate surface defect repairs.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B6056, B6057, A61, B6068 Abbey Lane, A621 Abbeydale Road South and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
