What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.30 (PART)
CHESTERFIELD

WHEN: 15 October 2025 to 15 April 2026.
WHERE: Close Chesterfield footpath No.30 from SK38144 75266 to SK38144 75221.
REASON: To facilitate public safety due to collapsed wall.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: From Holly House School, travel southwest and south along Church Street north. Take footpath No.32 which meets the southern point of footpath No.30.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of footpath. The footpath will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
