What is happening?
THE A1 TRUNK ROAD (BOREHAMWOOD) 50 MILES PER HOUR PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT ORDER 2025
National Highways Limited (a) gives notice that they have made an Order under powers conferred by Sections 84(1)(a) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the A1 Trunk Road in the County of Hertfordshire.
The Order was made on 12th September 2025 and comes into force 22nd September 2025.
The notice of proposal to make the Order (reference 4808275) was published in issue number 64811 of the London Gazette on the 31st July 2025 and the effect of the order is as described in that notice.
A copy of the made Order, plans illustrating the proposals may be inspected at:
