PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY NO. 13 GAYTON PARISH
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council, on 18/9/15, made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along the following length of Public Bridleway No. 13 Gayton Parish from junction Moor Lane for approximately 880m North East to the junction of the Bridleway with Parkside Lane for a period of six months or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier. The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) due to the unsafe condition of the bridge and subsequent works required.
No alternative route is available.
A plan will be displayed on site to show the length of path to be closed and unaffected rights of way in the area.
This Order shall come into operation on 25/9/25 and continues the restriction that came in to force on 4/9/25 and may be cited as the Staffordshire County Council Public Bridleway No. 13 Gayton Parish (Temporary Closure) Order 2025.
