Bath Street, Temporary Road Closure Due To Building Maintenance Works

Notice of Intention

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make trie following Order: A438, Bath Street, Hereford, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the A438, Bath Street, Hereford, outside Hereford Justice Centre. Grid Ref: 351307/351307.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Commercial Road onto Folly Lane onto Ledbury Road and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to providing safe access for building maintenance works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 13th of October 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 night (1900hrs - 0100hrs).
