Kimbolton, Temporary Road Closure, Due To Cabling Works

Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U94213 & U94202, Kimbolton, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U94213 & U94202, Kimbolton, from the junction with New Rd A4112 to approx 1165m south of junction with Bache Lane and approx 100m either side of Bache Lane crossroads with Hamnish Rd. Grid Ref: 351976/261176 and 353184/259972.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via (west) diversion -Hamnish Rd (U94213) onto the A4112 onto the C1055; (east) diversion Hamnish Rd (U94213) onto the A4112 onto the U94219 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to overhead cabling works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 13th of October 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 10 days (9.30-15.30hrs weekdays).
