Urishay Villa, Temporary Road Closure Due To Overhead Cabling Works
What is happening?
Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U75410, Urishay Villa, Peterchurch, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U75410, Urishay Villa, Peterchurch, near Badger Bury, Cwm Barn. Grid Ref: 331897/238171.
The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the U75410 onto the U75407 onto the C1207 onto the C1209 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to overhead cabling works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 15th of October 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
