RHODDIR DRWY HYN RYBUDD fod Cyngor Sir Ynys Môn/Isle of Anglesey County Council wedi gwneud Gorchymyn bydd yn gwahardd dros dro pob cerbyd, ac eithrio cerbydau argyfwng, rhag teithio mewn unrhyw gyfeiriad ar hyd Ffordd Longford, Caergybi.

Mae angen y Gorchymyn i hwyluso cyflenwad pŵer i’r ysgol.

Ffordd Amgen 1. Ar gyfer traffig sy’n dymuno teithio i gyfeiriad y Gogledd-ddwyrain ar hyd Ffordd Longford - o ben deheuol y cau.

Teithiwch i gyfeiriad y gogledd ar hyd Longford Terrace ac yna i gyfeiriad y dwyrain ar hyd Mount Pleasant i ben arall y cau.

Ffordd Amgen 2. Ar gyfer traffig sy’n dymuno teithio i gyfeiriad y De-orllewin ar hyd Ffordd Longford - teithiwch i gyfeiriad y gogledd-orllewin ar hyd Thomas Street a throwch i’r chwith i Edmund Street. Yna teithiwch i gyfeiriad y de-orllewin ar hyd Edmund Street i’r gyffordd â Pump Street a throwch i’r chwith.

Yna teithiwch i gyfeiriad y de-ddwyrain ar hyd Pump Street i’r gyffordd â Ffordd Longford a phen arall y cau ffordd.

Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 25ain Medi 2025 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd yn fwy na 6 wythnos neu hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith y bwriedir ei wneud ar y ffordd, pa un bynnag fyddo gyntaf. Ar hyn o bryd disgwylir i’r gwaith gael ei gwblhau ar 25ain Medi 2025.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 SECTION 14(1) AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT, 1991
CYNGOR SIR YNYS MÔN / ISLE OF ANGLESEY COUNTY COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) (LONGFORD ROAD, HOLYHEAD) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Cyngor Sir Ynys Môn/Isle of Anglesey County Council has made an Order, the effect of which will temporarily prohibit all vehicles, except for emergency vehicles, from travelling in either direction along Longford Road, Holyhead.

The Order is necessary to facilitate power supply to school.

Alternative Route 1. For traffic wishing to travel in a North Easterly direction along Longford Road - from the southern end of the closure. Travel in a northerly direction along Longford Terrace and then in an easterly direction along Mount Pleasant to the opposite end of the closure.

Alternative Route 2. For traffic wishing to travel in a South Westerly direction along Longford Road - travel in a north westerly direction along Thomas Street and turn left onto Edmund Street. Then travel in a south westerly direction along Edmund Street to the junction with Pump Street and turn left. Then travel in a south easterly direction along Pump Street to the junction with Longford Road and the opposite end of the road closure.

The Order comes into effect on 25th September 2025 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 weeks or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed, whichever is the earlier. At this stage it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 25th September 2025.
