The County of Herefordshire District Council, known as Herefordshire Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of Part I and Section 84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (the 1984 Act) and the Traffic Management Act 2004 (the 2004 Act) and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, hereby proposes to make the above-named Order the effect of which would vary the Herefordshire Council (Speed Limit) (Consolidation) Order 2022 and the Herefordshire Council (Various Traffic Movements) (Consolidation) Order 2022 so that the speed limit and prohibition of overtaking restriction be introduced on the roads listed in the schedules below:
30mph Speed Limit:

B4224 FROM JACKSONS LANE TO A40 | From its junction with A40 for a distance of 25m in a northerly direction. |
B4222 FROM RUDHALL BROOK TO GLOUCESTERSHIRE BOUNDARY | From a point 120m southwest of its junction with U70246 to a point 19m northeast of its junction with U70270 Willow Walk. |
The deadline for the receipt of objections is 12:00 noon on Friday 10th October 2025.
