What is happening?
THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL OF STOCKPORT (BENTS AVENUE AND GOYT CRESCENT, BREDBURY (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING) NOTICE 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic Act 1991 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 the effect of which will be to introduce No Waiting at Any Time: Bents Avenue, Bredbury (south side), from a point 10m south east of the intersection of the south eastern kerbline of Goyt Crescent, to a point 10m north west of the intersection of the north western kerbline of Goyt Crescent. Goyt Crescent, Bredbury (both sides), from the intersection of the south western kerb line of Bents Avenue, for a distance of 10m in a south westerly direction. Limited Waiting 8am - 8pm: Bents Avenue, Bredbury (south side), from a point 10m west from the intersection of the western kerbline of Higher Bents Lane, in a westerly direction, to a point 10m south east of the intersection of the south eastern kerbline of Goyt Crescent. Bents Avenue, Bredbury (south side), from a point 10m north west from the intersection of the north western kerbline of Goyt Crescent, to a point 10m south east of the intersection of the south eastern kerbline of Goyt Valley Road.
