What is happening?
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (HAMILTON ROAD, SUTTON IN ASHFIELD) (20 M.P.H. SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025 (3417)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council proposes to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effects of which will be, in respects of roads at Sutton in Ashfield in the District of Ashfield: -
1. No person shall drive any vehicle at a speed exceeding 20 miles per hour on that length of road specified in this Order.
DUKES CLOSE, SUTTON IN ASHFIELD
From its junction with Hamilton Road in a south-easterly direction along its entire length.
HAMILTON ROAD, SUTTON IN ASHFIELD
From its junction with B6022 Newark Road in a north-easterly direction to its junction with B6139 Coxmoor Road.
LIMES CLOSE, SUTTON IN ASHFIELD
From its junction with Hamilton Road in an easterly direction along its entire length.

Any objections should clearly state the reasons for the objections and should reach us in writing, either by letter or email, by 22nd October 2025. If the objection cannot be resolved, it will be reported through the County Council’s procedures at the appropriate time.
