Southfield Lane, Seaton Ross - Temporary Traffic Regulation

What is happening?

THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION
OF THROUGH TRAFFIC SOUTHFIELD LANE/
REANGAMOOR LANE, SEATON ROSS

Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire
Council intends not less than seven days from the
date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of
which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding
along Southfield Lane/Reangamoor Lane, Seaton Ross
commencing 22 October 2025 between 08.00
hours until 18.00 hours to allow works for South
End, Seaton Ross. The road closure is necessary
to enable the works to be carried out in a manner
consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.
The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated
that the works will be completed within two days.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the road
closure will be via Southfield Lane, road from Foss
Dyke to Major Bridge, Main Road, Laytham Road,
Tanner Lane, Breckstreet Lane, Mill Lane, North End,
Church Lane, Old Chapel Access Road and South End,
Seaton Ross CP, Foggathorpe CP, Howdenshire Ward,
Wolds Weighton Ward.
The diversion route will be signed at the time of
closure. The road will be closed to all traffic.
