Notice is hereby given that Derbyshire County Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order will be, in respects of roads in the Parish of Pinxton and South Normanton, Bolsover, is as follows:
To prohibit WAITING AT ANY TIME by vehicles (EXCEPT THOSE DELIVERING OR COLLECTING GOODS OR LOADING AND UNLOADING) ON THE FOLLOWING LENGTHS OF ROAD:
Berristow Lane, South Normanton
West Side
From a point 20 metres south of its junction with High View Road (northern part) in a northerly direction to a point 30 metres north of that junction.
East Side
From a point 20 metres south of its junction with High View Road (northern part) in a northerly direction to a point 30 metres north of that junction.
High View Road (northern part), South Normanton
North Side
From a point 49 metres west of its junction with Berristow Lane in a westerly direction for a distance of 33 metres.
Pinxton Lane, South Normanton
Both Sides
From its junction with Mansfield Road in a southerly direction for a distance of 18 metres.
Mansfield Road, South Normanton
South Side
From its junction with Pinxton Lane in a westerly direction for a distance of 52 metres.
North Side
From a point 22 metres west of its junction with Carter Lane West to a point 28 metres east of that junction.
Carter Lane West, South Normanton
West Side
From its junction with Mansfield Road in a northerly direction for a distance of 20 metres.
East Side
From its junction with Mansfield Road in a northerly direction for a distance of 32 metres.
Hamlet Lane, South Normanton
North Side
From a point 33 metres east of its junction with Market Street in an easterly direction for a distance of 15 metres.
Queen Street, South Normanton
South Side
From a point 11 metres west of its junction with Market Street in a westerly direction for a distance of 10 metres.
The Common, South Normanton
North Side
From a point 13 metres west of its junction with The Hamlet to a point 10 metres east of that junction.
The Hamlet, South Normanton
West Side
From its junction with The Common in a northerly direction for a distance of 15 metres.
East Side
From its junction with The Common in a northerly direction for a distance of 17 metres.
Wilson Street, Pinxton
North Side
From its junction with Kirkstead Road in a south easterly direction for a distance of 19 metres.
TO LIMIT WAITING BY VEHICLES TO 40MINS NO RETURN WITHIN 1 HOUR MONDAY-SATURDAY 8AM-6PM ON THE FOLLOWING LENGTHS OF ROAD:
Market Street, South Normanton
West Side
From a point 7 metres north of its junction with Bright Street in a northerly direction for a distance of 5 metres.
Exemptions will be made for vehicles used in connection with any building operation or demolition; removal of any obstruction to traffic; carrying out of statutory powers or duties taking in petrol etc, from any garage situated within the lengths of road; or as part of a funeral or wedding cortege. The usual exemptions for disabled persons’ vehicles will also apply.
TO RESTRICT STOPPING BY VEHICLES on School Keep Clear Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm ON THE FOLLOWING LENGTHS OF ROAD:
Sleights Lane & Wharf Road, Pinxton
South Side
From a point 44 metres southwest of its junction with Alexander Terrace in a south westerly then westerly direction for a distance of 43.5 metres.
Alexander Terrace, Pinxton
West Side
From a point 19 metres southwest of its junction with Wharf Road in a south westerly direction for a distance of 32.5 metres.
Kirkstead Road, Pinxton
West Side
From a point 47 metres north of its junction with Wilson Street in a northerly direction for a distance of 43.5 metres.
From a point 95 metres north of its junction with Wilson Street in a northerly direction for a distance of 37.5 metres.
East Side
From a point 38 metres north of its junction with Wilson Street in a northerly direction for a distance of 43.5 metres.
A copy of the Order and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection at the offices of the Derbyshire County Council, Main Reception, County Hall, Matlock between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday until 6 weeks after the Order is made, and at Pinxton Library, Kirkstead Road, Pinxton, Derbyshire, NG16 6NA and at South Normanton Library, The Hub, Shiners Way, South Normanton, Derbyshire, DE55 2AA or upon request by emailing Place.PermanentTRO
