The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) gives notice of its intention to make
an Order under Article 68 of the Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993, the
effect of which would be to stop-up two lengths of Belvoir Road, Belfast at
–
• the south-east side of the north bound carriageway at a point 200
metres north-east of its junction with Newtownbreda Road for a
distance of 66 metres in a north-easterly direction; and
• the north-west side of the south bound carriageway at a point 246
metres north-east of its junction with Newtownbreda Road for a
distance of 20 metres in a north-easterly direction.
The lengths of road to be stopped-up are delineated on a map which,
together with a copy of a draft order, may be inspected free of charge during
office hours within the period 17th September 2025 to 24th October 2025 at
DfI TRAM Eastern Division, Hydebank House, 4a Hospital Road,
Ballydollaghan, Belfast, BT8 8JL or viewed online at

Inspection of the draft Order and map is by appointment only which can be
arranged either by email using the email address below or by telephone
during office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.) on 0300 200
7899.
Any person may, within the period above, object to the proposal by writing to
the Department at DfI TRAM Eastern Division at the address above, or by

Comber Road, Dundonald
The Department for Infrastructure (DfI), being of the opinion that the road is
not necessary for road traffic, gives notice of its intention to make an Order
under Article 68 of the Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993, the effect of
which would be, after completion of such works as the Department considers
necessary to provide alternative facilities, to abandon an area of 608 square
metres of former road at Comber Road, Dundonald comprising of two
plots—
• 46 square metres adjacent to No. 1 Peartree Hill (Plot 1); and
• 562 square metres adjacent to No. 327 Comber Road, extending in a
south-easterly direction towards the junction with Peartree Hill (Plot 2).
It will also stop-up to motor vehicles, four lengths of former road at Comber
Road, Dundonald comprising—
• 26.8 metres outside No. 1 Peartree Hill;
• 6.8 metres extending in a south-westerly direction;
• 6.6 metres outside No. 327 Comber Road; and
• 46.5 metres extending in a south-easterly direction.
The areas of road proposed to be abandoned and the lengths to be stopped-
up are delineated on a map which, together with a copy of a draft Order, may

The Parking and Waiting Restrictions (Belfast) (Amendment No. 2) Order
(Northern Ireland) 2025.
The Order will prohibit vehicles waiting at any time on a length of Marlborough
Park, Belfast (loading and unloading permitted). Vehicles are excepted from
the prohibition in certain circumstances.

Notice of a Pre-Application Community Consultation as part of a
Proposal of Application Notice for a new greenway in West Belfast in
accordance with Planning Act (Northern Ireland) 2011 and The Planning
(Development Management) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015
(Regulation 5 (2)(b)).
Proposed Development: A new greenway scheme in West Belfast, to stretch
for 1.3km between Kennedy Way roundabout and the Bog Meadows Nature
Reserve. The proposals include a new 4m wide, pedestrian and cycle path,
environmentally friendly lighting, fencing, and landscaping to support
biodiversity. The proposal is part of a key route within the Belfast Cycling
Network Delivery Plan.
Location: The proposed greenway will be on open land running parallel to
the M1, adjacent to the NI Water Upper Falls site, Kennedy Way Industrial
Estate and Blackstaff Way, Milltown Cemetery, and the Bog Meadows
Nature Reserve.

BT12 6DG on Thursday 2 October 2025 between 2pm and 7pm.
