U71606, Wrigglebrook, Kingsthorne, Herefordshire - Temporary Road Closure due to Pole Replacement Works

Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U71606, Wrigglebrook Kingsthorne, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U71606, Wrigglebrook Kingsthorne, outside Rosslyn, approx 87m south of junction with Ladywell Lane. Grid Ref: 350304/231775. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via onto Wrigglebrook Pitch onto Little Birch Road onto The Thorn and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to Pole replacement works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place.

The said closure will come into force on 13th of October 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
