(U47019 Church Walk, Pershore) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U47019 Church Walk from its junction with U47024 Church St to its junction with B4536 Broad St.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Alternative route: B4536 Broad St, B4084 High St, U47023 Priest Ln, U47023 Lower Priest Ln, U47019 Church Row and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days (24hrs). Commencing: 13 October 2025.

(U47216 Church Street, Wyre Piddle) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U47216 Church St from a point 275 metres west of its junction with U47217 Avon Green and for a distance of 75 metres in a southerly direction.

Reason: Replacement manhole cover by BT.

Due to excavation work, access will only be possible before 08:00 and after 18:00 for the duration of the work.

Alternative route: No diversion possible.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 22 September 2025.

Order made: To close that part of U47019 Newlands from its junction with U47017 Head St to its junction with U47022 Monks Cl.

Reason: Manhole cover replacement by STW.

Alternative route: U47017 Head St, B4084 High St, U47023 Priest Ln, U47019 Church Row, U47019 Newlands (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 21 September 2025.

(U47020 New Road, Pershore) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U47020 New Rd from its junction with U47019 Newlands to its junction with Betjeman Cl (NSG Ref 45405430).

Reason: New customer connection by National Grid.

Alternative route: U47019 Newlands, A4104 Three Springs Rd, U47020 New Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 22 September 2025.

(C2007 Childswickham Road, Broadway) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2007 Childswickham Rd from its junction with U45616 Pennlands Bank to its junction with B4632 Cheltenham Rd.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Alternative route: B4085 Badsey Rd, A46 Evesham Bypass, A44 Broadway Rd, A44 Pitchers Hill, A44 Weston Rd, B4035 Weston Subedge and vice versa, B4035 Weston Subedge, B4035 Evesham Rd, B4035 Station Rd, B4035 High St, B4035 Bretforton Rd into closure and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (07:30-17:00). Commencing: 24 September 2025.

Order made: To close that part of Closure 1 – U47128 Gig Bridge Lane from its junction with Mount Pleasant for a distance of 40 metres in a south easterly direction.

Closure 2 – U47128 Mount Pleasant from its junction with U47128 Gig Bridge Ln to its junction with Mount Pleasant Barns (NSG Ref: 45400923).

Reason: Lay new ducting by O’Connor Utilities Group.

Alternative route: No alternative route is available.

Order made: To close that part of Closure 1 – Link Footpath F40889 Bengeworth to Butterfly Crescent (btw No. 10-12) from its junction with U44626 Porter Rd to its junction with U44626 Butterfly Cres.

Closure 2 – Link Footpath F40523 Digby Road to Butterfly Avenue from its junction with U44626 Butterfly Cres to its junction with U44625 Digby Rd.

Closure 3 – Link Footpath F40525 Digby Road (side No. 43) to Durcot Lane from its junction with U44625 Digby Rd to its junction with Link Footpath F40901 Durcot Rd (btw No. 35/37).

Reason: Gas main replacement by Wales & West Utilities.

Proposed Order: To close that part of A4184 Abbey Rd from its junction with U44421 Abbey Ln to its junction with A4184 Merstow Green.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing for new Royal Wulverine site by Shannocks Civil Engineering.

Alternative route: A4184 Abbey Rd (part), A4184 Cheltenham Rd, A46 Evesham Bypass, A44 Twyford Roundabout to Norton Lenchwick Bypass, A4184 Twyford Bank, A4184 Greenhill, A4184 Vine St, A4184 Abbey Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 nights (20:00–06:00). Commencing: 14 October 2025.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.
