PUBLIC NOTICE

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(U13203 Lower Kingsford Lane, Wolverley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U13203 Lower Kingsford Ln from its junction with C2015 Sladd Ln for a distance of 50 metres in a northerly direction.

Reason: Utility work by STW.

Alternative route: C2015 Sladd Ln, C2016 Kingsford Ln, U13203 Castle Hill Ln, U13203 Lower Kingsford Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 24 September 2025.

(C2013 Caunsall Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of C2013 Caunsall Rd from its junction with A449 Wolverhampton Rd to its junction with New Rd (NSG Ref 45700707).

Reason: Bridge repairs by WCC.

No access for emergency services, diversion route must be followed.

Alternative route: C2013 Caunsall Rd (part), C2013 Bridge Rd, C2283 Castle Rd, A449 Wolverhampton Rd, C2013 Caunsall Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days.

Commencing: 22 September 2025.

(C2082 Cakebole, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of C2082 Cakebole from its junction with C2082 Cakebole Ln for a distance of 150 metres in an easterly direction.

Reason: Telegraph pole replacement by Openreach.

Alternative route: C2082 Cakebole Ln (part), C2082 Fox Ln, A448 Kidderminster Rd South, A448 Bromsgrove Rd, C2014 Curlew Ln, C2082 Cakebole (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.

Commencing: 23 September 2025.

(C2061 Stakenbridge Lane, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of C2061 Stakenbridge Ln from its junction with U13403 Stoney Ln for a distance of 300 metres in a westerly direction.

Reason: Pole renewal by Openreach.

Alternative route: C2061 Stakenbridge Ln (part), A456 Kidderminster Rd South, A456 Birmingham Rd, C2126 Churchill Ln, C2061 Stakenbridge Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.

Commencing: 22 September 2025.

(B4202 Worcester Road/B4202 Pensax, Abberley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of Closure 1 – B4202 Worcester Road from its junction with C2192 Menith Wood to its junction with C2024 Pensax Rd. Closure 2 – B4202 Pensax from its junction with C2024 Pensax Rd to its junction with U6410 Suffolk Ln.

Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.

Alternative route: B4202 Worcester Rd (part), A456 Mamble Rd, A456 Mamble, A456 Newnham Bridge, A443 Newnham Bridge, A443 Lindridge, A443 Eardiston, A443 Elm Green, A443 The Common Abberley to Wynniatts Way, B4202 Apostle Oak, B4202 Pensax (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 23 September 2025 and 3 October 2025.

(C2172 Wilden Lane, Stourport On Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2172 Wilden Ln from its junction with B4193 Hartlebury Rd to its junction with U11319 Bigbury Ln.

Reason: Bridgeworks inspection by WCC.

No access for emergency services, must follow diversion route.

Alternative route: U11319 Bigbury Ln, U11318 Wilden Top Ln, B4193 Hartlebury Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.

Commencing: 13 October 2025.

(U12043 Bruce Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) and (A456 Birmingham Road, Kidderminster) (Prohibition of Right Turn) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of: a) U12043 Bruce Rd from its junction with A456 Birmingham Rd to its junction with U12040 Coates Rd. b) A456 Birmingham Road Central Reservation to prohibit right turning onto Bruce Rd when travelling in a westerly direction, for the duration of the work.

Reason: Gas main replacement by Cadent.

Alternative route: A456 Birmingham Rd, U12042 Baldwin Rd, U12044 Coates Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs). Commencing: 22 September 2025.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Wyre Forest District – Kidderminster area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2025 (Prohibition of Waiting on Wyre Hill & Cleobury Road, Bewdley)

On 4 September 2025 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Bewdley:

Cleobury Road (southeast side) – from its junction with Wyre Hill for a distance of 10m in a north easterly direction.

Wyre Hill (north side) – from its junction with Cleobury Road for a distance of 46.3m in an easterly direction.

Wyre Hill (south side) – from its junction with Cleobury Road for a distance of 59m in an easterly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/ access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 25 September 2025.

A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be downloaded at the Wyre Forest Public Notice Page on the Worcestershire County Council Website or inspected at Kidderminster Library, Market Street, Kidderminster DY10 1AD and Wildwood, Wildwood Drive, Worcester WR5 2QT during normal office hours.

The validity of the Council’s powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.

(Wyre Forest District – Kidderminster Area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2025

(Revocation of Waiting Restrictions on Sutton Road, Kidderminster)

On 4 September 2025 Worcestershire County Council made an Order giving permanent effect to an Experimental Order made on 9 January 2025 which will revoke all waiting restrictions on the following lengths and sides of roads on Sutton Road, Kidderminster:

Sutton Road Kidderminster (West Side) From its junction with Poplar Road for a distance of 31m in a northerly direction.

Sutton Road Kidderminster (East Side) From a point 31m north of its junction with Poplar Road for a distance of 40m in a southerly direction.

The Order will come into operation on 25 September 2025.

(Footpaths BW-538, BW-541, BW-543, BW-640, Bewdley) Temporary Closure Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of:

a) Footpath BW-538 from the north end of the Rowing Club (grid ref: 378634, 275616) to the bridge (grid ref: 378574, 275480).

b) Footpath BW-541 for its whole length from the Bridge End to Butt Town Meadow.

c) Footpath BW-543 from Beale’s Corner (grid ref: 378882, 275456) to Pleasant Harbour (grid ref: 378822, 275523).

d) Footpath BW-640 from Stourport Rd (grid ref: 378911, 275332) to Acacia Av (grid ref: 379081, 275086).

The Order has been made due to flood defence construction.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route:

Footpaths BW-538 & BW-541 Diversion – B4190 Beales Corner, B4190 Kidderminster Rd, U130102 Northwood Ln, U130101 Riverway Dr, U13032 Nursery Rd, Footpath FU10533 to public park and vice versa.

Footpath BW-543 Diversion – B4190 Beales Corner, Footpath FU10534 to Sweetrees Alley, Footpath BW-543 Pleasant Harbour and vice versa.

Footpath BW-640 Diversion – B4195 Stourport Rd, Bridleyway BW-644 Acacia Ave and vice versa.

The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing from 8 September 2025.
