Tan House Ln, Burtonwood (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that, not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Tan House Ln 50 metres jct with Farmers Ln to its jct with Burtonwood Rd. The order will be effective from 13th October 2025 for 1 day, between 9:30am & 3:30pm. The alternative route will be via Farmers Ln, Clay Ln & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Openreach to carry out telecom pole replacement works. Ref: T661870

Hatfields Rd (Prohibition of Driving & Footway Closure) Temporary Order 2025
The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving & footpath closure on Hatfields Rd from the end of the cul- de-sac to its jct. with Finsbury Close. The closure is effective from 19th September 2025 for up to 10 days as follows:
Friday 19th September 2025 – 7pm to midnight
Saturday 20th September 2025 – 8am to 4pm
Sunday 21st September 2025 – 9am to 4pm
Provisional dates of Friday 26th, Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th September 2025 with the same operational hours. The alternative route will be via Withers Dr, Smith Dr & the A50. The restrictions are required for highway improvement/traffic calming works.

Academy Way: from Academy Way to Mersey St.
Academy Way: from Bridge St to Moulders Ln.
Fennel St: from Bridge St to Leyton St.
Liverpool Rd (westbound): from the Tesco traffic lights to Moulders Ln.
Knutsford Rd (westbound): from Halliwell to Wilderspool Causeway.
Knutsford Rd (eastbound): from Grange Ave to Halliwell.
Loushers Ln (northbound): from Wilderspool Causey to Grange Ave.
Lumb Brook Rd: from Grappenhall Rd to Bridge Ln.
Mersey St: from Bridgefoot to its junction with Wharf St.
Museum St: from Bold St to Sankey St.
Orford St: from Crosfield St to Bold St.
Station Rd: from Bold St to its junction with Slutchers Ln.

The order will be effective for the duration of the event (approx. 8 hours) on Sunday 21st September 2025. Access will be under the control of the event organiser for the duration. The closures are required to facilitate the Warrington Running Festival.

The Council intends to make Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, for the implementation of temporary restrictions in connection with the above works/events. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.
The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement Consolidation) (Amendment No. 4) (Part 1) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 32, 35 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & of all other enabling powers on 17th September 2025. The effect of the Order is as follows: –
The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation Order 2025, is hereby further varied or amended as follows: –
a) In the 3rd Schedule by the deletion of:

Hopwood St (North West Side) – From its jct. with School Brow for a distance of 34.9m in a north westerly direction;

Winmarleigh St (East Side) – From its jct. with Sankey St for a distance of 5.8m, in a southerly direction;
Winmarleigh St (East Side) – From a point 25.7m south of its jct. with Sankey St for a distance of 17.4m in a southerly direction;
Winmarleigh St (East Side) – Between a point 29m south of its jct. with Sankey St to a point 37m south & again 7.3m north & again 13.7m south of the passageway adjacent to property No. 2 Winmarleigh St.

Bus Stop Clearway: Liverpool Rd (South West Side) – From a point 101m south east of its jct. with Lidunrum for a distance of 46m in a south westerly direction.
In accordance with Regulation 19 of the Local Authorities Traffic Regulations Orders (Procedure) (England & Wales) Regulations 1996 the Council has deferred part of the order proposed in the Notice dated 17th July 2025. It is now making the Order in part.
The Order will be operative from 29th September 2025 & may be cited as "The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation (Amendment No. 4) (Part 1) Order 2025".

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with may within 6 weeks from the date of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
