Sevenoaks, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

 

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic  Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

 

SEVENOAKS AREA

 

Chart Lane, Brasted, TN16 1LX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of a pole replacement by Openreach, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Chart Lane, Brasted, on or after 13th October 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Emmetts Lane and Pipers Green Road.

The alternative route is via Chart Lane, A25 High Street/Main Road, Church Road, Ide Hill Road, Sundridge Road, Ide Hill Roundabout, Ide Hill Roundabout To Wheatsheaf Hill, Ide Hill Road From B2042 Ide Hill Road To C307 Ide Hill Road, B2042 Ide Hill Road/Green Lane, Toys Hill and vice versa.

 

Chipstead Park, Sevenoaks, TN13 2SL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of South East Water works to lay 600m of water main and 60 service transfers, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Chipstead Park, Sevenoaks, on or after 13th October 2025 until 20th February 2026 or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between numbers 1 and 6 Chenies.

The alternative route is via Chipstead Park and vice versa.

 

Five Fields Lane, Four Elms, TN8 6NA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Five Fields Lane, Four Elms, on or after 15th October 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed near Beaumonts.

The alternative route is via B2027 Four Elms Road, B2027 Bough Beech Road, B2027 Clinton Lane and vice versa.

 

School Lane, West Kingsdown, TN15 6JN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of a sewer cover replacement, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of School Lane, West Kingsdown, on or after 13th October 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Corner Oak.

The alternative route is via School Lane, Tinkerpot Lane, Knatts Valley Road, Botsom Lane, A20 London Road and vice versa.

 

Telston Lane, Otford, TN14 5JH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of a new water connection to a main, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Telston Lane, Otford, on or after 13th October 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Three Gables.

The alternative route is via Pilgrims Way West, Rye Lane, Willow Park, Telston Lane and vice versa.
