Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
GRAVESHAM AREA
A289 Wainscott Northern Bypass & A2 Three Crutches Slip Eastbound, Higham, ME2 3UG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of LED Lantern replacement, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on A289 Wainscott Northern Bypass and A2 Three Crutches Slip Eastbound, Higham, on or after 13th October 2025 for up to 1 night between 20.00hrs and 06.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The roads will be closed for their entire lengths.
Bernard Street & West Crescent Road, Gravesend, DA12 9GR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bernard Street and West Crescent Road, Gravesend, on or after 15th October 2025 for up to 2 days between 08.00hrs and 18.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the side of number 11 Bernard Street on West Crescent Road to outside number 15 Bernard Street.
The alternative route is via Bernard Street, Berkley Road, Wilfred Street, West Crescent Road and vice versa.
Camer Park Road, Foxendown Lane & Oakenden Road, Meopham DA13 0BP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of water mains fitting repairs, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Camer Park Road, Foxendown Lane and Oakenden Road, Meopham on or after 29th September 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The roads will be closed at their junctions with each other.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Foxendown Lane, The Street, A227 Wrotham Road, Green Lane, Camer Road, Sole Street, The Street, Cobhambury Road, Luddesdown Road, Oakenden Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained for Camer Park Road.
Cornwell Avenue, Gravesend, DA12 5HS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Cornwell Avenue, Gravesend, on or after 13th October 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 15.
The alternative route is via Cornwell Avenue, Whitehill Road, Sun Lane, Kitchener Avenue, Jellicoe Avenue and vice versa.
Cross Lane West, Gravesend, DA11 7QN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of a frame and cover replacement, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Cross Lane West, Gravesend, on or after 16th October 2025 for up to 1 night between 20.00hrs and 06.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from A227 Wrotham Road to outside number 41.
The alternative route is via Cross Lane West, Singlewell Road, B261 Old Road West, A227 Wrotham Road and vice versa.
Hever Court Road, Gravesend, DA12 5JB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of gas mains replacement, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hever Court Road, Gravesend, on or after 18th October 2025 for up to 21 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Sandown Road and Manor Hotel.
The alternative route is via Hever Court Road, Valley Drive, B261 Old Road East/Echo Square, Singlewell Road and vice versa.
Pinnocks Avenue, Gravesend, DA11 7QN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Pinnocks Avenue, Gravesend, on or after 13th October 2025 for up to 4 nights between 20.00hrs and 05.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 11.
There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.
Rural Vale, Gravesend, DA11 9JP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Rural Vale, Gravesend, on or after 29th September 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 73.
The alternative route is via Rural Vale, Mill Road, Gordon Road, B2175 London Road and vice versa.
Station Road, Northfleet, DA11 9DU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Station Road, Northfleet, on or after 13th October 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Station House.
The alternative route is via Station Road, B2175 High Street/Stonebridge Road, Hamerton Road and vice versa.
Suffolk Road, Gravesend, DA12 2SN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Suffolk Road, Gravesend, on or after 13th October 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 55.
The alternative route is via Suffolk Road, Norfolk Road, Russell Road and vice versa.
Walnut Hill Road, Gravesend, DA13 9HP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Walnut Hill Road, Gravesend, on or after 30th September 2025 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction of Stony Corner.
The alternative route is via Walnut Hill Road, Downs Road, Broad Ditch Road, New Barn Road, Longfield Avenue and vice versa.
