(Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.56) Order 202x
Notice is hereby given Colchester City Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 1st July 2022 proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4 (1), 4(2), 32, 35, 45, 46, 49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the Order:
To introduce No Waiting at Any Time restrictions on Cotman Avenue, Lawford on both sides of the road from its junction with Nash Close to its junction with Gainsborough Drive.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by replacing tile numbers TM095 320 revision 0 with revision 1, TM095 317 revision 0 with revision 1.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily suspend the 7.5T weight restriction on that Clacton Road, Mistley/Long Road, Mistley/Lawford in the District of Tendring, from its junction with the A137 to its junction with the A120 as detailed in the “The Essex County Council (North East Essex) (Prohibition of Heavy Commercial Vehicles) Order 1989”. The suspension is scheduled to commence on 12th October 2025 for 80 nights (21:00–05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (FN40642039610-01 – National Highways). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The suspension is required for the safety of the public and workforce to facilitate A12 diversion route on behalf of National Highways.
The Order will come into effect on 25th September 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Wellesley Road/Carnarvon Road, Clacton on Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Wellesley Road, Clacton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Harrow Road to its junction with Pier Avenue a distance of approximately 680m.
To temporarily close that length of Carnarvon Road, Clacton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Wellesley Road to its junction with Railway Terrace a distance of approximately 70m.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 29th September 2025 for 36 days (in phases not whole length all the time), or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5011001439718/19 – Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Marine Parade East, Marine Parade West, West Road, Park Way, Jaywick Lane, St Johns Road and vice versa (with access only into Little London Road, Wellesley Road and Carnarvon Road).
The Order came into effect on 11th September 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
