RHODDIR HYSBYSIAD TRWY HYN fod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY wedi gwneud Gorchymyn o dan Adran 14 (1) (a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984. Gwnaed y gorchymyn oherwydd gwaith a oedd yn cael ei wneud ar yr hawliau tramwy.  

Effaith y Gorchymyn oedd cau llwybr cyhoeddus 142 a chilffyrdd cyfyngedig 183,182a a 182 Drenewydd Gelli-farch dros dro fel y nodir ar gynllun y gorchymyn.  

Daw'r Gorchymyn i rym ar 1af Hydref 2025 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am hyd at chwe mis neu nes bod y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag sydd gynharaf.  

Yn rhinwedd Adran 16(1) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, bydd person sy'n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir o dan Adran 14 o'r Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL SECTION 14(1)(a) - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 PUBLIC FOOTPATH 142 AND RESTRICTED BYWAYS 183,182A AND 182 SHIRENEWTON TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025   

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under S14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The order was made due to works being executed on the rights of way.  

The effect of the Order was to temporarily close public footpath 142 and restricted byways 183,182a and 182 Shirenewton as will be indicated on the order plan.   

The Order will come into force on the 1st October 2025 and will remain in force for up to six months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier.  

By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
