ORDER 2025
SHIPLEY AREA WIDE – VARIOUS ROADS
NOTICE is hereby given that City of Bradford Metropolitan District has made the above Order on 16 September 2025 under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the general effect of which will be to introduce the following: -
I. ‘NO WAITING AT ANY TIME’ on a length of: Highfield Road, Greycourt Close, and Woodsey Road, Wrose. Back Crag Road, Shipley, Hall Lane, Windhill, Shipley, Prospect Mount and Carr Lane, Windhill, Shipley, Hazel Croft and Carr Lane, Wrose, Alma Street, Windhill, Wrose, Low Ash Road and Elen Road, Wrose. Fyfe Grove, Baildon. Glenwood Avenue and Park Way, Baildon. Dewhirst Road and Rosemont Lane, Baildon. Baildon Road and Sandals Road, Baildon. Enfield Road and Sandals Road, Baildon. South Street, Denholme. Albert Road, Shirley Street, Titus Street, Dallam Avenue, and Albert Avenue, Saltaire, Clarence Road, Saltaire, Ferncliffe Road, Saltaire, Ferncliffe Briggate and Beck View Way, Shipley, Wycliffe Road (near its junction with Kirkgate), Shipley. Castlefields Lane, Bingley. Canal Road and Chapel Grove. Crossflatts, Bingley. Wiselden Road, Harden. Canon Pinnington Mews and unnamed road adjoining Canon Pinnington Mews, Cottingley. Lee Close, Wilsden, Main Street and Rombalds Court, Menston.
II. Revocation of existing ‘NO WAITING AT ANY TIME’ revoked on a length of Church Street, Bingley.
III. Revocation of existing ‘LIMITED WAITING PARKING’ Mon-Sat, 9.30am – 4.30pm; 2 Hours, No Return Within 2 Hours on a length of the layby fronting properties No. 203-221 Bingley Road, Saltaire.
IV. ‘LIMITED WAITING PARKING’ Mon-Sat, 9.30am – 4.30pm, 30 Minutes, No return within 30 Minutes on a length of the layby fronting properties No. 203-221 Bingley Road, Saltaire.
V. ‘LIMITED WAITING PARKING’
Mon-Fri, 8am-9am and 2pm-4pm, 1st September–31st July fronting properties Nos. 25-29 West Lane, Baildon and to the rear of properties No. 12 & 15 (Sunnyside Drive) and side of property No. 35 (Belmont Avenue) on West Lane, Baildon.
VI. Revocation of existing ‘PERMIT HOLDERS ONLY’ and introduction of ‘NO WAITING AT ANY TIME’ on a length of Back Birklands Road, Shipley.
The Order comes into force on 19 September 2025. A copy of the Order together with documents showing more detailed particulars may be examined during normal office hours at the Customer Services Reception, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford BD1 1HY and also at Bingley Library, Menston Library, and Shipley Library or examined on the Council’s website at https://www.bradford.gov.uk/transport-and-travel/highways/traffic-regulation-order/, or obtained from Craig Williams, Senior Engineer, Traffic and Road Safety (North), by telephoning 01535 618249 or by emailing craig.williams@bradford.gov.uk. Quoting reference 105379/CON-1A.
If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or any Instrument made under it, have not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the date upon which the Order was made, on 16 September 2025 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
