Bradford, Traffic Regulation Orders For No Waiting Restrictions & U-turn Prohibitions

What is happening?

CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL (WAITING LOADING AND PARKING) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO.*) ORDER 20** AND

CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL (MOVING TRAFFIC) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO.*) ORDER 20** STATION ROAD AND CANAL ROAD, BRADFORD

NOTICE is hereby given that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council proposes to make the above Orders under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the general effect of which will be to:

1. introduce no waiting at any time restrictions on lengths of Canal Road and Station Road around where they intersect in the Bradford City Ward;

2. increase the extents of the existing dual carriageway and prohibited U-turn restrictions on Canal Road to facilitate the extension of the central reservation on that road.

Copies of the draft Orders together with maps showing the affected roads and the Statement of Reasons for the Orders may be: examined during normal office hours at the Customer Services Reception, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford, BD1 1HY; or examined on the Council's website at https://www.bradford.gov.uk/transport-and-travel/highways/traffic-regulation-order; or obtained from Martin Adams - Traffic & Road Safety South, by email at martin.adams@bradford.gov.uk quoting reference number HS/TRSS/106017.

If you wish to object to either or both proposed Orders you should send the grounds for your objection in writing either by post to the address below or by e-mail to objections@bradford.gov.uk quoting the above reference to be received no later than 12 noon on 9 October 2025.
