Shaw Lane, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Electrical Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL BACK SHAW LANE, KEIGHLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of electrical works proposed to be executed on or near Back Shaw Lane, Keighley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Back Shaw Lane from a point outside the Moor Edge Farm to the entrance to the Shaw Quarry.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Back Shaw Lane (unaffected section), Shaw Lane and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 29th September 2025 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 3rd October 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
