DYMA HYSBYSIAD bod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Rhondda Cynon Taf wedi gwneud Gorchymyn o dan Adrannau 1, 2 a 4 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (“y Ddeddf”) a phob pŵer galluogi arall, a’i effaith fydd:

1. Cyflwyno system draffig un ffordd fel sydd wedi’i nodi yn Atodlen 1

Bydd y Gorchymyn yn dod i rym ar 22 Medi 2025

Chaiff unrhyw berson sy’n dymuno cwestiynu dilysrwydd y Gorchymyn, neu unrhyw ddarpariaeth a gynhwysir ynddo, ar y sail nad yw o fewn y pwerau a roddwyd gan Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, neu ar y sail na chydymffurfiwyd ag unrhyw un o ofynion y Ddeddf honno neu unrhyw offeryn a wnaed o dani mewn perthynas â’r Gorchymyn, wneud cais o fewn chwe wythnos i 22 Medi 2025 i’r Uchel Lys at y diben hwn

ATODLEN 1 – System Draffig Unffordd
Ni chaiff unrhyw berson achosi neu ganiatáu i unrhyw gerbyd fynd ymlaen ar hyd y darnau o ffordd wedi’u n odi isod, i gyfeiriad heblaw’r hyn wedi’i nodi:-

1. Stryd y Capel – rhan uchaf
O ochr ogleddol Teras Glanselsig tua’r gogledd i ochr ddeheuol Teras Delwen am bellter o tua 24 medr.

2. Teras Delwen
O bwynt 4 metr i’r dwyrain o’i chyffordd â Stryd y Capel uchaf tua’r dwyrain yn gyffredinol am bellter o tua 57.5 metr.

RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(DELWEN TERRACE AND CHAPEL STREET, BLAENCWM, TREHERBERT)
(ONE WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council have made an Order under Sections 1, 2, and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to:

1. Introduce a one way traffic system as specified in Schedule 1

The Order will come into operation 22nd September 2025

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it had not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from 22nd September 2025 apply to the High Court for this purpose

SCHEDULE 1 – One Way Traffic System
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed along the lengths of road specified below, in a direction other than that specified: -

1. Chapel Street – upper section
From the northern side of Glanselsig Terrace in a northerly direction to the southern side of Delwen Terrace for a distance of approximately 24 metres.

2. Delwen Terrace
From a point 4 metres east of its junction with upper Chapel Street in a general easterly direction for a distance of approximately 57.5 metres.
