Denton Road, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Water Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL DENTON ROAD, ILKLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near Denton Road, llkley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Denton Road from its junction with Footpath No. 9 llkley to a point outside the district boundary.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

No alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 07:00 hours on the 29th September 2025 and remain in force until 19:00 hours on the 24th April 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
