Vale Mill Lane, Temporary Prohibitiin Of Traffic Due To Construction Works
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL VALE MILL LANE, HAWORTH TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of construction works proposed to be executed on or near Vale Mill Lane, Haworth intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Vale Mill Lane from its junction with Longacres to a point outside No. 21 Vale Mill Lane.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Vale Mill Lane (unaffected section), Mytholmes Lane, Station Road, Park Avenue, Colne Road, Providence Lane, Mytholmes, Rawdon Road, Bridgehouse Lane, Station Road, Mill Hey, Lees Lane, Haworth Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect at 09:30 hours on the 181 October 2025 and remain in force until 15:00 hours on the 1st October 2025; at 09:30 hours on the 2nd October 2025 and remain in force until 15:00 hours on the 2nd October 2025; at 09:30 hours on the 3rt October 2025 and remain in force until 15:00 hours on the 3rd October 2025 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
