Distington, Temporary One Way Traffic Due To Utility Works

CUMBERLAND COUNCIL (B5306, DISTINGTON) (TEMPORARY ONE-WAY TRAFFIC RESTRICTION) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out ("the Works"), Cumberland Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding other than in a north easterly direction along that section of the B5306, Distington, from its junction with the A595, extending in a south westerly direction for approx. 80m.

A suitable alternative route for Southwest Bound Vehicles will be signed and available via the A595, and B5306.

The Order will come into operation on 6 October 2025 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required for 2 weeks and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
