Filemorehill Lane, Froxfield & Privett, East Hampshire - Temporary Road Closure due to water mains works
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Filemorehill Lane between its junction with A32 and its junction with Fawley Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Filemorehill Lane, Gosport Road, Fawley Lane, Filemorehill Lane, Stocks Lane, Winchester Road, Petersfield Road, Gosport Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 6th October 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 4 months and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for South East Water to complete water mains works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: contactcentre@southeastwater.co.uk.
