City Of Stoke-On-Trent - To Introduce Double Yellow Lines
What is happening?
City of Stoke-on-Trent (Traffic Regulation) (Resident Parking - Longton) (No.06) Order, 2025.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Stoke on Trent made an Order on the 10 September 2025 under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46 and 51 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984. The Order shall come into operation on the 29 September 2025. The effect of this Order is as follows: -
1.To introduce double yellow lines in Willow Row (North Side) 3 metres from its junction with Ayshford Street for a distance of 12 metres
2.To establish a Residential Permit Parking Zone in the following lengths of road: -
a)Ayshford Street (Zone L11) on the (NorthWest Side) 3 metres from its junction with Ayshford Street for a distance of 16 metres
b)Willow Row (Zone L11) on the (North-East Side) 15 metres from its junction with Ayshford Street for a distance of 6 metres
3.To allow the following properties to apply for permits relevant to the zone;- Ayshford Street - Nos 10-12
4.To introduce the below annual charges: Residents Permit £38.50 Visitors permit £38.50 (Senior citizens issued 1 free) Senior Citizen (with vehicle) £38.50 Administration Fee £5.50
5.To revoke the provisions in so far as they are affected by the restrictions imposed by this Order.
A copy of this Order may be examined online at stoke.tarffweb.app via Traffic Orders. If you wish to question the validity of this Order or any provision in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the above Act or on the grounds that the requirements of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order you may within six weeks of the date hereof apply to the High Court for this purpose.
