Parishes of Parishes of Bishop’s Lydeard and Halse Temporary Closure of Halse Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Halse Road - from the junction with Blakes Lane, north-westwards for a total distance of 905 metres. This Order will enable Openreach to carry out pole testing.

The Order becomes effective on 18th September 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months.

The works are expected to commence on 25th September 2025 and last until 25th September 2025 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 6 hours.
