Dorset, Multiple Roads, Temporary Closures Due To Various Works

What is happening?

Temporary Traffic Management Order, Marian Road, Corfe Mullen

DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 30th September 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months, however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 1st October 2025.

This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works.

The effect of this Order is as follows:

[i] To impose a temporary road closure on; Marian Road, Corfe Mullen as indicated by signs on site.

[ii] To impose a temporary clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along Marian Road, Corfe Mullen.

The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 30th September 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months, however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 7th October 2025.

This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works.

It will come into operation on 5th October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months, however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 15th October 2025.

This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works.

The effect of this Order is as follows:

[i] To impose temporary road closures on; Dolmans Hill, Lytchett Matravers and Jennys Lane, Lytchett Matravers as indicated by signs on site.

[ii] To impose a temporary clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along Dolmans Hill, Lytchett Matravers and Jennys Lane, Lytchett Matravers.

The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 30th September 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months, however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 15th October 2025.

[i] To impose a road closure on sections of; Cobham Road, Ferndown and Nimrod Way, Ferndown as indicated by signs on site.

[ii] To impose a clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along Cobham Road, Ferndown and Nimrod Way, Ferndown.

A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed section.

Temporary Closure of Various Roads, Ashley Heath

DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles, cyclists and horse riders will be prohibited from proceeding along various roads, Ashley Heath at such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signage on site; [i] Woolsbrogie Road, Ashley Heath at such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signage on site; [ii] Lions Lane, Ashley Heath at such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signage on site. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 6th October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 19th December 2025.

This Order will enable SGN, safe access to carry out gas main replacement works.

A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Temporary Closure of Various Roads, Holt

DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles, cyclists and horse riders will be prohibited from proceeding along Various Roads, Holt as listed; [i] Grange between Hope Cottage and Primrose Cottage; [ii] Access Road to Grange Farm between Grange and Apple Hill House. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 13th October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 24th October 2025.

This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out sewer lining works.

A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Temporary Closure of East Street, Wimborne Minster

DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles, cyclists and horse riders will be prohibited from proceeding along East Street, Wimborne Minster between Park Lane and King Street, as indicated by signs on site. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 6th October 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 24th October 2025.

This Order will enable Uk Power Distribution Ltd, safe access to carry out electrical service installations.

A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of Dorset has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

The effect of the Order is to come into operation on 26th September 2025 the effect of the Order is to introduce no waiting at any time and no loading at any time restrictions along parts of Uddens Drive, Ferndown.

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of Dorset has made the above-mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

  2. When the Order comes into operation on 26th September 2025 the effect of the Order is to introduce no waiting restrictions between the hours of 8am and 6pm on The Glade, St Leonards & St Ives.
