What is happening?
WEST LOTHIAN COUNCIL
CLOSURE OF ROADS & WAITING, LOADING & UNLOADING RESTRICTIONS IN LINLIHGOW TTO/TM. 089.2025
The Council have made an Order under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that the road(s) noted in the Schedule below will be closed and parking will be suspended for the period specified for the Linlithgow Athletic Club 10K Event. Traffic will be diverted as undernoted. Pedestrians will be unaffected.

Road Closure: (1) B8029 (Mill Road) - From A706 (Mains Road) to A803 (Main Street) during the times of 14.00 - 15.15hrs. (2) A706 (St Ninian’s Road) - From A803 (High Street) to B8029 (Mill Road) during the times of 14.00 - 15.45hrs (3) U1 (Bonnytoun Road) - From A803 (East) to A803 (West) during the times of 14.00 - 16.30hrs (4) A803 (High Street) - From A803 (Blackness Road) to A706 (St Ninian’s Road) during the times 14.00 - 14.45hrs (5) The Cross - From the junction with Kirkgate eastwards for a distance of 25m or thereby. Full day. Parking Suspension: Parking Restriction on Main Street and Falkirk Road A803: From B8029 (Mill Road) to A706 (St Ninian’s Road). During the times of 09.30hrs until 17.30hrs on 28/09/2025.
Dates and Times: 28/9/2025 at 09:30 until 28/9/2025 at 17:30
Diversion Route: (1) B8029 (Mill Road) - no diversion route, local & emergency access only. (2) A706 (St Ninians Road) - via A803 (High Street), A803 (Blackness Road), A904, A993 (Grahamsdyke Road), A706 (Linlithgow Road) and vice versa. (3) U1 (Bonnytoun Road) - no diversion route. (4) A803 (High Street) - no diversion route. (5) Kirkgate and High Street (A803).
