THE A1 TRUNK ROAD (NORTH OF LITTLE PONTON, LINCOLNSHIRE)
(CLOSURE OF GAP IN THE CENTRAL RESERVATION) ORDER 20XX
National Highways Limited (Company no. 9346363) hereby gives notice that it intends to make an Order under sections 1(1), 2(1), and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the A1 Trunk Road, north of Little Ponton, in the County of Lincolnshire.
The effect of the order would be to close the gap in the central reservation of the A1 situated approximately 797 metres southeast of the centreline of the A52 underbridge, north of Little Ponton, Lincolnshire.
A copy of the draft Order, together with a plan illustrating the proposals and a statement of the reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected during opening hours at Grantham Library, Floor 1, Isaac Newton Shopping Centre, Newton Street, Grantham, NG31 6EE; Stamford Library, 30 High Street, Stamford, PE9 2BB, or may be seen at or obtained by application to Jodie Anderson at National Highways, Three Snowhill, Snow Hill, Queensway, Birmingham, B4 6GA; or obtained by emailing orders-birmingham@nationalhighways.co.uk.
Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a written statement of their objection and the grounds thereof to Jodie Anderson at National Highways at the address or e-mail address given above. The objection must be received no later than Thursday 09 October 2025.
When submitting an objection, it should be borne in mind that the substance of any objection may be communicated to other people who may be affected by it.
