NOTICE 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City and County of Swansea in pursuance of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intend to make an Order. In order for Swansea Council to undertake flood alleviation works, it will be necessary to close the above-named road to vehicular traffic.

SCHEDULE

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
HEOL Y GORS, TOWNHILL, SWANSEA
Heol Y Gors in a Westerly direction from its junction with Carmarthen Road to the rear of the BMW garage, approximately 140 metres.

The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Carmarthen Road, Gors Avenue, and Heol Y Gors, approximately 3.5 Kilometres.

Access for emergency vehicles to be maintained at all times.

The maximum duration of the order is 18 months and it is anticipated the work will take18 months to complete effective from Thursday 25th September 2025.
