Enfield, Temporary Road Closures Due To Various Works
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984- SECTION (14.1)
The council of the London Borough of Enfield intend to make Temporary Traffic Orders described below.
ALBANY ROAD EN3 - 4600
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works
Operational Date and times: “At any time” on 26 September 2025 for 6 weeks or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking from a point between Nos. 45 and 83, on both sides of the road.
EVERSLEY CRESCENT N21 - 4601
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility works
Operational Date and times: “At any time” on 29 September 2025 for 21 days or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to close this road between Nos. 18-20.
Whilst the road is closed local diversions would be in place.
GREEN LANES N21 – 4602
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Water Works
Operational Date and times:
Between 10:00-15:00hrs on 30 September 2025 for 1 day or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to close the southbound and northbound cycle lane on this road, between 695 Cedar House for approximately 45 metres in both directions.
Cyclists would be required to dismount and walk for the length of the cycle lane closure or join the main carriageway to continue cycling.
LEA VALLEY ROAD EN3, LONSDALE DRIVE EN2, ALMA ROAD EN3 - 4604
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Highway Works
Operational Date and times:
Lea Valley Road EN3
2 October 2025 between 21:00hrs - 05:00hrs for 2 nights or until works are completed.
Lonsdale Drive EN2
20 October 2025 between 08:00hrs-18:00hrs for 1 day or until works are completed.
Alma Road EN3
28 October 2025 between 08:00hrs-18:00hrs for 1 day or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to;
close this road and suspend parking between Scotland Green Road and Mollison Avenue, from a point in the Crews Hill Train Station car park, eastwards, for approximately 30 metres.
close this road and suspend parking between Nos. 94/134, on both sides of the road.
close this road and suspend parking between King Edwards Road to No. 173 Alma Road, on both sides of the road.
Whilst these roads are closed local diversions would be in place.
