What is happening?

REDCAR AND CLEVELAND BOROUGH COUNCIL

(SKELTON, LINGDALE AND SLAPEWATH) (WAITING AND LOADING AND PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION)(AMENDMENT) ORDER (NO 1) 2025

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to amend the Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council (Skelton, Lingdale and Slapewath)(Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2003 by

1. By adding No waiting at any time restrictions on the following roads:- Boosbeck Road, Skelton Green, Carney Street, Boosbeck, Cockburn Street, Lingdale, Fenton Street, Boosbeck, High Street, Boosbeck, High Street Back Street Side of Holywell Farm, Boosbeck, Trout Hall Lane, Skelton Green.

2. By adding No waiting Mon-Fri 8am -9.30am and 2.30pm-4pm on Waveney Grove, Skelton-in-Cleveland.

3. By adding No loading and unloading Mon-Fri 8am-9.30am and 2.30pm-4pm on Byland Road, Skelton in Cleveland.

4. By deleting No waiting at any time restrictions on A173 High Street Skelton in Cleveland and South Terrace Skelton in Cleveland The Order will come into operation 17.10.25. A copy of it may be examined at the address below between the hours of 10.30am and 3.00pm Monday to Friday or at https://www.redcar-cleveland.gov.uk/resident/ roads-and-travel/highway-notices/Pages/PermanentHighway-Notices.aspx

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provision in it on the ground that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act or on the ground that any requirement of the Act or of any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 22.9.25 apply to the High Court for that purpose.
