THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (WAITING AND
LOADING RESTRICTION)
(AMENDMENT NO. ) ORDER 202

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City
Council proposes to make the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Orders would be to:
(a) on the west side of Knox Street:
(i) relocate the residents’ parking place
adjacent to Nos. 129-137 Marylebone Road
northward by 4.1 metres and extend it
southward by 1.3 metres;
(ii) relocate the pay-by-phone parking place
adjacent to Nos. 129-137 Marylebone Road
northward by 2.8 metres and shorten it by
6 metres (1 bay) at its southern end; and
(iii) introduce 8.8 metres of double yellow line
“at any time” waiting restrictions opposite
Nos. 32 and 33; and
(b) on the west side of Wyndham Street:
(i) extend the pay-by-phone parking place
outside Nos. 27 to 32 northward by
10.1 metres (2 bays); and
(ii) shorten the pay-by-phone parking place
outside No. 35 and adjacent to Nos. 139-151
Marylebone Road by 5.4 metres (1 bay) at its
southern end.
3. The proposed Orders and other documents giving
more detailed particulars of the Orders are available
for inspection until six weeks have elapsed from
the date on which either the Orders are made or
the Council decides not to make the Orders at
https://westminstertransportationservices.co.uk/
notices and, in person by appointment only, at
Westminster City Hall, 64 Victoria Street, London,
SW1E 6QP, between 9.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. on
Mondays to Fridays (except bank / public holidays).

5. Any objections or other representations about the
proposals should be sent in writing to the Council’s
agents, WSP Traffic Order Team, 3rd Floor, WSP

quoting reference 8177/ND, by 8th October 2025.
All objections must specify the grounds on which
they are made.
