The Bromley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2003 (**Amendment No. ***) Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley on 17th September 2025 made the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers. The Order will come into operation on 20th September 2025

The effect of the Orders would be to:

Introduce ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions as set out in the Schedule to this Notice;

Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Order.

Copies of the Order may be inspected by during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at Bromley Council, Churchill Court, Westmoreland Road, Bromley BR1 1AS, or by emailing TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date of the making of the Order.

ANY person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that any requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

WAITING RESTRICTIONS – No Waiting At Any Time:-

BROMLEY LANE, BR7: (a) the north-east side (i) from a point 8.7m south-west of the common boundary of Nos. 4 and 6 Bromley Lane to a point 7.8m south-west of that point (b) the south-east side (i) from a point 6.2m south-west of the common boundary of Nos. 4 and 6 Bromley Lane to a point 10.8m south-west of the common boundary of Nos. 8 and 10 Bromley Lane.
