LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY
*The Bromley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2003 (Amendment No. **) Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley on 20th August 2025 made the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers. The Order will come into operation on 20th August 2025
The effect of the Order would be to:
introduce ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions as set out in the Schedule to this Notice;
Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Order.
Copies of the Order may be inspected by during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at Bromley Council, Churchill Court, Westmoreland Road, Bromley BR1 1AS, or by emailing TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date of the making the Order.
ANY person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that any requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
SCHEDULE 1: -
WAITING RESTRICTIONS
No Waiting At Any Time: -
ALBERT ROAD, Orpington
(a)
(i) the southside, from a point 10m south of the southern kerbline of Lower Road at its junction with Albert Road for 10m in an easterly direction on Albert Road;
(ii) the north side, from a point 10m north of the northern kerbline of Lower Road at its junction with Albert Road for 10m in a westerly direction on Albert Road.
LOWER ROAD, Orpington:
(a) the northwest both sides, from a point 1.7m southwest of a point opposite the extended common boundary line of Nos 31 & 33 Lower Road for 19m southwards.
(b)
(i) the southeast side, from a point 6m opposite the extended common boundary line of Nos 91 & 93 Lower Road for 18m southwards,
(ii) the northwest side, from a point 6m opposite the extended common boundary line of Nos 91 & 93 Lower Road for 19m southwards.
(c) from a point 3m northeast of the extended flank wall of No. 80 Lower Road for 19m northwards
