PUBLIC NOTICE

LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY

The Bromley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2003 (Amendment No. ***) Order 2025

The Bromley (Controlled Parking) (On Street Places) Order 2004 (Amendment No. ***) Order 2025

The Bromley (Loading Places) Order 2009 (Amendment No. ***) Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley on 17th September 2025 made the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers. The Order will come into operation on 20th September 2025

The effect of the Orders would be to:

(a) Introduce new ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions as set out in Schedule 1 to this Notice.

(b) Extend existing Resident Permit Holder Bays as per CPZ Zone B as set out in Schedule 2 to this Notice.

(c) Introduce a new loading bay as set out in Schedule 3 to this Notice.

(d) Amend existing Resident Permit Holder Bays a per CPZ Zone Z1/Z5 as set out in Schedule 4 to this Notice.

(e) Revoke existing Resident Permit Holder Bays a per CPZ Zone Z1/Z5 as set out in Schedule 5 to this Notice.

Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Order.

Copies of the Order may be inspected by during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at Bromley Council, Churchill Court, Westmoreland Road, Bromley BR1 1AS, or by emailing TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk

until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date of the making the Order.

ANY person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that any requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

SCHEDULE 1: –

WAITING RESTRICTIONS

No Waiting At Any Time:

FURZEHILL SQUARE, Orpington (a) south and west (i) from a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 22 and 23 to a point opposite the southern flank property wall of No. 23 Mead Way. (b) east and south (i) from a point opposite the rear common boundary of Nos. 43 and 45 to a point 11.5m east of the eastern kerbline of the eastern (north to south section) of Furzehill Square. (c) south and west (i) from a point 2.5m west of the eastern flank wall of No. 47 to a point 7.5m north of the common boundary of Nos. 45 and 47.

ROWDEN ROAD, Beckenham: (a) east (i) from a point 29.5m northwest of the north western kerbline of Chaffinch Road northwards for a distance of 45m.

(b) west (i) from the north western kerbline of Chaffinch Road northwards to a point 1m south of the party wall of Nos. 1 & 3 (ii) from a point 1.8m northwest of the common boundary of Nos. 13 & 15 to a point 28.3m west of the common boundary of Nos. 16 & 18.

SCOTTS ROAD, Bromley: (a) north (i) from the western kerbline of College Road to a point 6m west. (b) south (i) from the eastern kerbline of College Road to a point 12m west.

SCHEDULE 2: –

RESIDENT PERMIT HOLDER PARKING BAY (CPZ ZONE B)

Permit Holders Only Mon-Sat noon–2pm:

SCOTTS ROAD, Bromley: (a) north (i) from a point 16 metres west of the northwestern kerbline of College Road westwards to a point 0.5m east of the western flank wall of No. 21 (b) south (i) from a point 22.0mwest of the northwestern kerbline of College Road westwards for a distance of 16.8m

SCHEDULE 3: –

LOADING BAY

Monday – Saturday 8.30am – 6.30pm:

SCOTTS ROAD, Bromley: (a) north (i) from a point 6m west of the western kerbline of College Road to a point 10m west.

SCHEDULE 4: –

RESIDENT PERMIT HOLDER PARKING BAY (CPZ ZONE Z1/Z5)

Permit Holders Only Mon-Sat noon–2pm:

ROWDEN ROAD, Beckenham:

(a) east (i) east from a point 10m north of the northwestern kerbline of Chaffinch Road northwards for a distance of 19.5m.

(ii) from the common boundary of Nos. 12 & 14 northwards for a distance of 9.0m.

(b) west (i) from a point 1m south of the party wall of Nos. 1 & 3 northwards for a distance of 35m (c) south (ii) from a point 2m south west of the western boundary of No. 18 south westwards for a distance of 26m.

SCHEDULE 5: –

REVOCATION OF RESIDENT PERMIT HOLDER PARKING BAY

(CPZ ZONE Z1/Z5)

ROWDEN ROAD, Beckenham:

(a) east (i) from a point 3m south of the southern boundary of No. 2 northwards for a distance of 31m.

(b) west (i) from a point 16 metres west of the northwestern kerbline of College Road westwards to the common boundary of Nos. 19 and 21.

(ii) from a point 2.5m south of the party wall of Nos. 17 & 19 northwards for a distance of 5m.
