ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC145441247: The City of Manchester (Whitelow Road, Chorlton Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Whitelow Road, from it’s junction with Beech Road to it’s junction with Chorlton Green. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Beech Road, Neale Road, Crossland Road, Chorlton Green. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate frame and cover replacement. It is expected that the works will be in progress on the 24th September 2025.
The order shall come into operation on 24th September 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
