HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY, Neuadd y Sir, y Rhadyr, Brynbuga, NP15 1GA ("y Cyngor") yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn yn unol â'r pwerau a roddwyd gan Adran 14(1)(a) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984:  

1. Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 3ydd Hydref 2025 a bydd yn parhau i fod mewn grym am gyfnod nad yw'n hwy na 18 mis neu nes bod y gwaith y cynigir ei wneud wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag yw'r cynharaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith yn cael ei gwblhau rhwng 3ydd Hydref 2025 a’r 17eg Hydref 2025.  

2. Mae angen y Gorchymyn  er mwyn gwneud gwaith hanfodol yn atgyweirio’r garthffos mewn modd diogel yn y lleoliad.   Bydd mynediad rhesymol yn cael ei gynnal ar gyfer eiddo sydd ar hyd y ffyrdd a effeithir arnynt tra y bydd yr heol ar gau.  

3. Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd:        

i. Cau Ffordd
Stryd y Llew, Y Fenni, Sir Fynwy
Ar y 3ydd o Hydref, bydd y ffordd ar gau o fynedfa/allanfa Maes Parcio Iard y Bragdy hyd at ei chyffordd â'r A40 am un diwrnod.  
Ar gyfer y gwaith sy'n weddill, bydd y ffordd ar gau o Stryd y Farchnad i'w phwynt gyda Maes Parcio Iard y Bragdy i ganiatáu allanfa o'r Maes Parcio..  

ii. Atal system unffordd
Stryd y Farchnad, Y Fenni, Sir Fynwy
Ar y 3ydd o Hydref, bydd y system unffordd yn cael ei diddymu i ganiatáu i fesurau Rheoli Traffig Stopio/Mynd fod ar waith, a bydd hyn yn caniatáu i gerbydau fynd i mewn/allan o Faes Parcio Iard y Bragdy drwy Stryd y Farchnad.  

O'r 4ydd o Hydref ymlaen, bydd y system unffordd yn cael ei gwrthdroi o'i chyffordd â Stryd y Llew i'w phwynt gyda Maes Parcio Iard y Bragdy i ganiatáu mynediad i Faes Parcio Iard y Bragdy.  

iii. Atal Dim Mynediad
Maes Parcio Iard y Bragdy, Y Fenni, Sir Fynwy
Dim mynediad i'w atal wrth allanfa Maes Parcio Iard y Bragdy i Stryd y Farchnad  

4. Bydd llwybr dargyfeirio fel a ganlyn:- Stryd y Brenin, A40, Pen-Y-Pound, Cilgant y Parc, B4521 Heol Henffordd, A40ac i’r gwrthwyneb.  

5. Gellir enwi'r Gorchymyn hwn fel Gorchymyn Rheoleiddio Traffig Dros Dro Stryd y Llew a Stryd y Farchnad,  Sir Fynwy 2025.  

6. Yn sgil Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffordd 1984 bydd person sy'n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodir dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE
SECTION 14 - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

 MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(LION STREET AND MARKET STREET, ABERGAVENNY, MONMOUTHSHIRE) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE 2025  

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL of County Hall, The Rhadyr, Usk, NP15 1GA (“the Council”) Intends to make an order pursuant to the powers conferred by Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984  

1. The Order shall come into operation on the 3rd of October 2025 and will continue to be in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will be completed between 3rd of October 2025 and 17th of October 2025.  

2. The order is necessary for essential sewer repair works to take place in a safe manner at the location. Reasonable access will be maintained for properties fronting the affected lengths of road during the period of the closure.  

3. The effect of the order will be:  

i. Road Closure Lion Street, Abergavenny, Monmouthshire
On the 3rd of October the road will be closed from the entry/exit of Brewery Yard Car Park to its junction with the A40 for one day.  

For the remaining works, road will then be closed from Market Street to its point with Brewery Yard Car Park to allow egress from the Car Park.  

ii. Suspension of one-way system
Market Street, Abergavenny, Monmouthshire
On the 3rd of October the one-way system will be revoked to allow Stop/Go Traffic Management measures to be in place, this will allow vehicles to enter/exit the Brewery Yard Car Park via Market Street.  

From the 4th of October the One-way system will then be reversed from its junction with Lion Street to its point with Brewery Yard Car Park to allow access to the Brewery Yard Car Park.  

iii. Suspension of No-Entry
Brewery Yard Car-Park, Abergavenny, Monmouthshire No entry to be suspended on the exit from Brewery Yard Car-Park on to Market Street.  

4. A signed diversionary route will be in place as follows:- King Street, A40, Pen-Y-Pound, Park Crescent, B4521 Hereford Road, A40 and vice versa.  

5. This order may be cited as the Lion Street and Market Street, Abergavenny, Monmouthshire Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2025  

6. By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
