Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd gwahardd traffig ar droed bob amser rhag mynediad ar hyd llwybr cyhoeddus SP46/1 o’i gyffordd â Llwybr Arfordir Penfro (Cyfeirnod Grid OS SN 1447 0324) a mynd ymlaen i’r traeth am 154 o fetrau (Cyfeirnod Grid OS SN 1454 0315)

Mae eithriadau yn y Gorchymyn i ganiatáu mynediad mewn cysylltiad â chyflawni unrhyw waith arfaethedig.

Mae angen y cau dros dro hwn i ddiogelu’r cyhoedd oherwydd bod y llwybr wedi’i ddifrodi gan dirlithriad ac erydiad arfordirol. Daeth y Gorchymyn i rym ar y 12fed Medi 2025. Bydd y Gorchymyn yn parhau’n ddilys am gyfnod o chwe mis ar y mwyaf.

NOTICE OF MAKING

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)(AS AMENDED)

PEMBROKESHIRE COAST NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY

PUBLIC FOOTPATH SP46/1, MONKSTONE IN THE COMMUNITY OF ST MARY OUT LIBERTY

(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority (by virtue of the powers delegated to it by the statutory traffic authority; Pembrokeshire County Council) have made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Act 1984 (as amended).

The effect of the Order will be to prohibit traffic on foot at all times from proceeding along public footpath SP46/1 from its junction with the Pembrokeshire Coast Path (OS Grid Reference SN 1447 0324) and proceeding to the beach for 154 metres (OS Grid Reference SN 1454 0315).

There are exemptions in the Order to permit access in connection with the execution of any proposed works.

This temporary closure is required to safeguard the public due to the path being damaged by a landslip and coastal erosion. The Order came into operation on the 12th of September 2025. The Order will remain valid for a maximum period of six months.
