What is happening?
LIVERPOOL CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICES
Roger Mann, Head of Law (Planning & Regulatory), City Law & Governance, Legal Services, Cunard Building, Water Street, Liverpool, L3 1AH. Dated 18 September 2025. (Western Avenue & Hale Road) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving) Order 2025.
Notice is hereby given that the Council intends to make the above-mentioned Order under Section 14 of The Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the: -
(a) southbound service road of Western Avenue, L24, between N2 Dam Wood Road and Hale Road; &
(b) eastbound service road of Hale Road, L24, from the southbound service road of Western Avenue for a distance of 25 metres in an easterly direction, from the 3 October 2025 to 1 September 2026, or for such a lesser period of time as dictated by the early completion of the works which are to continue to safely enable the operation of a crane during development works.
A signed diversion will be erected for the duration of the works.
