What is happening?

THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL

(TRAFFIC REGULATION: RESTRICTIONS ON WAITING,

LOADING AND UNLOADING, STOPPING AND PARKING

PLACES) (VARIATION NO. _) ORDER 202_ - TRO/24/29

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended to: 1. Introduce disabled bays on Larchwood Sq, Bangholm Grv, Burdiehouse Ln, Calder Cres, Carrick Knowe Ter, Crewe Rd Gdns, Darnell Rd, Dochart Dr x 2, Double Hedges Pk, Glenlee Ave, Hermitage Pl, Rossie Pl, Ryehill Ave, Salvesen Grv, The Green (Silverknowes), Spey Ter, East Restalrig Ter and Ashville Ter; 2. Replace a section of shared use bay with a disabled bay on Annandale St and Brunswick Rd; 3. Replace part of a waiting restriction/loading prohibition (Mon-Fri 7.30am-6.30pm/7.30-9.30am & 4.006.30pm) with a 24/7 disabled bay on Montagu Ter; 4. Replace part of a residents’ bay with a disabled bay on Rosslyn Cres and Springvalley Gdns; 5. Extend the existing disabled bay by removing a part of a resident’s bay and redefine the extents of the same residents’ parking place by removing part of a 24/7 waiting restriction on Hutchison Rd; and 6. Amend the disabled bay restricted times from 09.00 to 17.30 Mon to Sun to 24 hours of each day on High Street (South Queensferry). Documents can also be viewed at Waverley Court Reception, 4 East Market St, Edinburgh, EH8 8BG between 9:30am & 3:30pm Mon-Fri during the same period. Objectors must complete the form found via the “Proposals in consultation” link referred to above, or state their reasons in writing quoting reference TRO/24/29 to Traffic Orders at the above address, not later than 10/10/25. Objections should state the name and address of the objector. If you are responding to this consultation and your comments or objection relate to any specific location/s or element/s of the proposal, it would be helpful if you could identify them in your submission.
