ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
B44390 OLD WARWICK ROAD, ROWINGTON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between Elephant & Castle Cottage and Arden Cottage.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.00hrs.
Order Commences: 24 September 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 25 September 2025.
Access & Diversion: Old Warwick Road, Shreley Common, The Cumsey, Lye Green Road, The Green, A4189, A3400, Old Warwick Road, Packwood Lane, Rising Lane, Station Lane, Old Warwik Road and vice versa.

D4415 LEICESTER STREET, LEAMINGTON SPA
Order Effect: Road closed between Clarendon Street and Campion Terrace.
Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing works, closed 09.30hrs15.30hrs, weekdays only.
Order Commences: 22 September 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 30 September 2025.
Access & Diversion: Leicester Street, Gresham Avenue, Valley Road, Pound Lane, Cubbington Road, A445 (Lillington Road, Clarendon Street) and vice versa. Access/egress to be maintained where possible to businesses and residents only. Access/egress to/from all adjoining roads may be restricted whilst works are in progress.

Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to install of telecommunications pole, closed 18.00hrs-05.00hrs.
Order Commences: 22 September 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 26 September 2025.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
A452 LEAMINGTON ROAD & B4115 ASHOW ROAD, KENILWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic at Chesford Crossroads – between the junctions of Thickthorn Island, Bericote Road Island, junction Hill Wootton Road, Ashow Road/Rocky Lane.
Reason for Order: To enable works for carriageway drainage, bollard repair, marking and jetting of road, overnight 20.00hrs-06.00hrs.
Order Commences: 7 October 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 11 October 2025.
Access & Diversion: A452, Stoneleigh Road, Stoneleigh Hill, Coventry Road, St Martins Road, Ashow Road, Stoneleigh Road, A46, Ashow Road and vice versa. Access to Ashow Road, north of Chesford Crossroads can be accessed from Stoneleigh Road, Stoneleigh.

HOLLY WALK, LEAMINGTON SPA
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to rebuild sluice valve chamber
. Order Commences: 7 October 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 9 October 2025.
Access & Diversion: No diversion available.

STRATFORD ROAD, WARWICK
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to install new water connection.
Order Commences: 6 October 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 9 October 2025.
Access & Diversion: Stratford Road and vice versa.

D7121 GREVILLE ROAD, KENILWORTH
Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic from Brookside Avenue to Barrowfield Lane.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 08.00hrs-16.00hrs.
Order Commences: 6 October 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 6 October 2025.
Access & Diversion: Brookside Avenue, Mercia Avenue, Barrowfield Lane and vice versa. Access/egress to/from Barrow Road will be via the B4103 Warwick Road whilst works are in progress.

C22 BACK LANE, ROWINGTON
Order Effect: Road closed between High Cross Lane and High Cross Farm Road.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching works, closed 09:30hrs15:30hrs.
Order Commences: 8 October 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 8 October 2025.
Access & Diversion: Back Lane, Shrewley Common, Old Warwick Road, Finwood Road, Mill Lane, New Road, Narrow Lane and vice versa.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.

THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(DISTRICT OF WARWICK) (CIVIL ENFORCEMENT AREA)
(WAITING RESTRICTIONS, ON STREET PARKING PLACES AND RESIDENTS’ PARKING) (CONSOLIDATION) (VARIATION Q) ORDER 2025; and
(D4090 CROSS STREET AND D4129 ST JOHNS SERVICE ROAD, WARWICK) (ONE WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Warwickshire County Council has made the above-named Orders, pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to
(i) vary the existing Warwickshire County Council (District of Warwick) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions, On-Street Parking Places And Residents’ Parking) (Consolidation) Order 2017, as described (by approximate measurements) in Schedule 1 below; and
(ii) to introduce one way traffic flows as described in more detail in Schedule 2 below.
The Orders will commence on 1 October 2025.
Exceptions to any waiting restrictions described in Schedule 1 below will permit waiting for the purposes of picking up and setting down passengers, loading and unloading goods, for vehicles displaying a disabled person’s badge and in connection with the maintenance of the road and the supply of gas, water or electricity.
A copy of the Orders, together with a copy of an Order to be varied, plans showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Orders are available to view at the Main Reception at Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick, and online on the Council’s website at https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/news/20210/warwick-district. Any enquiries relating to these Orders should be sent by email to chminorworks@warwickshire.gov.uk using the subject “St Johns”. Any person who desires to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Orders apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(STARMER PLACE AND THE GREEN, HATTON GREEN, WARWICK) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025
Warwickshire County Council is proposing to:
1. To introduce a 20-mph speed limit on the lengths of road described in Schedule 1 below which are currently 30mph by virtue of street lighting.
2. Vary the existing Order titled “The Warwickshire County Council (A4177 Birmingham Road, A4141 Birmingham Road, B4439 Hockley Road, B4439 Old Warwick Road, Five Ways Road, Shaws Lane, Stoney Lane and The Green, Hatton) (40 mph and 50 mph Speed Limit) Order 2012” to introduce a 40mph speed limit on the lengths of road described in Schedule 2 below.

Warwickshire County Council is proposing to:
1. To revoke the (Hampton Road and Old School Lane, Hampton on the Hill) (Restricted Roads) Order 2001 in its entirety and introduce a 20-mph speed limit on the lengths of road described in Schedule 1 below which are currently 30mph;
2. To vary the 2017 Order to extend the length of the existing 50mph speed limit by 46 meters as described in Schedule 2 below which is currently 30mph;
