LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY

*The Bromley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2003 (Amendment No. **) Order 2025.

*The Bromley (Controlled Parking) (On Street Places) Order 2004 (Amendment No. **) Order 2025.

(Various Locations)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers,

The effect of the Orders would be to:-

(a) Introduce permit parking restrictions on Westgate Road and Westmoor Close as set out in the Schedule to this notice;

(b) Change the waiting restriction on the single yellow line on Foxgrove Road, the northside, opposite houses 38b to 40, from 8am-4pm to 9.30am - 2.30pm Monday to Friday.

Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Orders.

A copy of the proposed orders, of the plans of the schemes and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be made available by emailing TrafficManagementOrders@bromley.gov.uk during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays.

ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Environment and Public Protection, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, BR1 3UH, quoting reference ADE(TP)/RP/T100/707 not later than 9th October 2025.

Persons objecting to the proposed orders should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.

SCHEDULE 1 :-

PERMIT PARKING

Monday - Saturday: 7.30am-9.30am and 2.30pm-6.00pm

WESTGATE ROAD, Bromley: (a) the western side, between its junctions with Foxgrove Road and Beckenham Place Park, (b) the eastern side, between its junctions with Foxgrove Road and Beckenham Place Park.

WESTMOOR CLOSE, Bromley, (a) the north side, from its junction with Westgate Road and the entire Close, (b) the south side, from its junction with Westgate Road and the entire Close.

SCHEDULE 2 :-

WAITING RESTRICTION

Operating Monday to Friday between 9.30am-2.30pm.

FOXGROVE ROAD, the north side, from a point 31.25 metres from the western kerbline of Westgate Road at its junction with Foxgrove Road for 57.13 metres westwards.
