JOHN WILLIAM STREET, HUDDERSFIELD - LANE CLOSURE OUTBOUND FROM TOWN CENTRE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of John William Street, Huddersfield, from its junction with Railway Street/Northumberland Street to its junction with Brook Street (lane closure outbound from town centre) PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Northumberland Street, Northgate, Castlegate, Viaduct Street, John William Street - one way only anti-clockwise direction from Northumberland Street.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 6 October 2025 and remain in force until 10 September 2027 (any extension will require Secretary of State approval).
(NEW HEY ROAD, SCAMMONDEN, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY REDUCTION OF SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of New Hey Road, Scammonden, Huddersfield from a point approximately outside Nonte Sarahs Pub to approximately 500 metres before its junction with Saddleworth Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

It is intended that the restriction will operate on Wednesday 8 October 2025 and remain in force for approximately one day (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(YEW TREE LANE, HOLMBRIDGE, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Yew Tree Lane, Holmbridge from a point approximately outside Avondale to a point outside Moorcottage PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Yew Tree Lane, Cold Well Lane, Flush House Lane, Roods Lane, Field End Lane, Woodhead Road, Fairfields Road, Yew Tree Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Thursday 9 October 2025 and remain in force for approximately one day (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(ARBORARY LANE/NOPPER ROAD, SOUTH CROSLAND, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Arborary Lane/Nopper Road, South Crosland from its junction with Blackmoorfoot Road to its junction with Harrison Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Arborary Lane diversion: Black Lane, Blackmoorfoot Road, Slades Lane, Harrison Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 6 October 2025 and remain in force until 11 October 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(LASCELLES HALL ROAD, LASCELLES HALL, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 2) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Lascelles Hall Road, Lascelles Hall from its junction with School Lane to its junction with Quarry Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Quarry Lane, Wakefield Road, Waterloo Road, School Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 6 October 2025 and remain in force for until 24 October 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(NEW HEY ROAD, SALENDINE NOOK, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY REDUCTION OF SPEED LIMITED) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed at a speed in excess of 30 mph in that length of New Hey Road, Salendine Nook from a point opposite property no. 498 to a point opposite property no. 550 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. No diversion required - speed reduction only.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 6 October 2025 and remain in force until 11 January 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(BIRKBY ROAD, BIRKBY, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Birkby Road, Birkby from its junction with Halifax Road to a point outside property no. 400 Birkby Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 6 October 2025 and remain in force for until 7 November 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(WOOLDALE ROAD, WOOLDALE, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Wooldale Road, Wooldale from its junction with Fearnley Lane to its junction with Town End Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Town End Road, Bill Lane, Holmfirth Road, Greenhill Bank Road, Totties Lane, Fearnley Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 8 October 2025 and will remain in force until 11 October 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(CARTWRIGHT GARDENS, CROSLAND MOOR, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Cartwright Gardens, Crosland Moor from its junction with Blackmoorfoot Road to the end PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Oldfield Road / Miry Lane, Netherthong, Holmfirth from its junction with Bradshaw Road to a point approximately outside property no. 36 Oldfield Road and a point approximately at the side of property no. 45 Miry Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

(THICK HOLLINS ROAD, MELTHAM, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Thick Hollins Road, Meltham, Holmfirth from its junction with Greenfield Road to its junction with Dean Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Thick Hollins Road, Coach Road, Holmfirth Road, Wessenden Head Road, Greenfield Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Saturday 20 September 2025 19:00 and remain in force until 21 September 2025 23:59 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(LINCOLN GROVE, ALMONDBURY, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Lincoln Grove, Almondbury, from its junction with Thorpe Lane to end PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 22 September 2025 08:00 and remain in force until 24 September 2025 16:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(LEEDS ROAD, HUDDERSFIELD, CYCLE LANE CLOSURE (NO 5)) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 5) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of the cycle lane on Leeds Road, Huddersfield at a point approximately outside property no. 701 Leeds Road, Huddersfield PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

(HOLME LANE, SLAITHWAITE, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 3) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Holme Lane, Slaithwaite from its junction with North Lane for approximately 125 metres Eastwards PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

(HAGGROYD LANE, BROCKHOLES, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Haggroyd Lane, Brockholes from its junction with Smithy Place Lane to the end PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Derwent Road, Honley from its junction with Bradshaw Road to a point approximately outside property no.34 Derwent Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Dunford Road, Holmfirth from a point outside property no. 198 Dunford Road to its junction with Well Hill Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

(MELTHAM ROAD, LOCKWOOD, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Meltham Road, Lockwood from its junction with Brewery Drive to its junction with the footpath opposite property no 88 Meltham Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via am Road, Huddersfield Road, Holmfirth Road, Netherthong Road, Wilshaw Road, Moor Lane, New Road, Woodhead Road, Bridge Street, Meltham Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Sunday 21 September 2025 from 23:00 hours and remain in force until 22 September 2025 to 06:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
